The Performing Arts Precinct
“The performing arts is an exciting new area of development for Marian as we will have spaces where our students can create, produce, and perform in excellent facilities. This will be a centre for students and whānau to celebrate and share in the cultural diversity and the talents of our students. I love watching our students grow in confidence and skill as they challenge themselves in the performing arts.”

The Performing Arts Centre will be a place for students to express their creative side. Our music suite and the black box theatre will be a hub of creativity. We will host productions, dance showcases and music concerts, and provide students practical opportunities to engage with and develop skills in stage technology, professional lighting, and sound and stage design. This will open the door to new, innovative performance styles, and allow us to invite our community in to showcase the talents of our students.
The fitout of the black box theatre will be completed once all funding has been realised.
